join us on april 18th, 2012 and get inspired at our next workshop at the bandy canyon ranch! this historical ranch is nestled in the foothills of escondido california amongst vineyards and lemon groves. our theme for the shoot is vintage hollywood glamour meets rustic ranch getaway which will be perfectly created, themed and styled by vanessa van wieren from alchemy fine events & invitations, tam ashworth from isari flower studio & michele of MBRIDE bridal.

who we are: we are a team of photographers that have been photographing weddings for the past ten years. our unique combination of editorial, fashion, lifestyle and photojournalism has taken us nationally from coast to coast and around the world to locations such as bali, mexico, costa rica and italy. we shoot not only as a business but as artists..which is our approach to this workshop!

we will begin the day in the ranch house where we will cover topics such as:

-business and marketing strategies in todays market
-getting featured in magazines and blogs
-destination weddings: pricing, marketing and traveling
-learn from vanessa van weiren about marketing and how to work along side a wedding designer/planner

from there we will be doing a live shoot of a bride and groom with an open discussion that will cover topics such as:

-utilizing natural light
-being a photographer first and a wedding photographer second
-incorporating fashion and lifestyle photography

each student will have time to photograph the bride and groom and we will complete the day with a critique of your favorite images. we will also do a website/portfolio critique if you'd like as well as an open individual q&a session. an amazing lunch will be catered by a personal chef and drinks&snacks will be provided throughout the day as well.

for our out of town attendees, we recommend booking your room at the indigo hotel in east village. we will be picking up attendees from this hotel and providing a shuttle to the workshop from this location. also, it is right around the corner from bar basic where our after workshop mixer will be held! single rooms are available as well as double bed rooms in case you'd like to room together with another attendee. if so, contact us and we can help to arrange this for you. please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have!
