today is my birthday and two years ago on this day i lost a very important person in my life..my grandmother. she was with me for the majority of my life and i'm so grateful that she had 88 long and happy years. because she did pass away on my birthday, its actually kind of a bitter-sweet day. it makes me miss her as i think of all the moments that we shared but it also makes me grateful to have had such an inspirational, caring and incredible person in my life...someone that gave herself so openly. so although today is my birthday, its become more a day of appreciating a beautiful person that i love dearly, that made me who i am and someone that will forever live in my heart...:)
