 i love my 45mm tiltshift... |

i finally had a moment to head out and test my new 45mm, 2.8 tiltshift lens and i love it! it's a great additional to my collection and i can't wait to use it at some upcoming weddings and engagement sessions. the effect is really cool but one thing's for sure, i'm going to have to get used to focusing manually again...it really took me back to my minolta days. :) |

this past saturday we headed over to the la jolla cove to meet julie and thor. they traveled down from the beautiful city of san francisco for their session and also to finish up some details for their wedding. we've been corresponding via phone and email, so i was excited to finally meet them in person. what a great time! they're such a fun and easy-going couple...i can't wait to photograph their wedding in just a few months. :) |
their families came with them...so it was the perfect opportunity for a quick, impromptu family session. :) see you all soon! |

today we headed downtown for a fun family session. usually, the streets are filled with people but today it was pretty barren, so we had tons of options...one being the design within reach furniture store. i love that place! |

when our friends at premise asked us to shoot some updated photos for their new site, we were happy to oblige. :) their office is located in a really cool and rustic loft in downtown san diego....with a space like this we really couldn't go wrong. here are some of my favorites...including the first one which is my ulitmate favorite, i love the movement! |

femme and andrew's session was a great way to cap off our super busy week. it was fun trekking through little italy and spending the afternoon with these two. they're such a sweet couple and i can't wait to photograph their wedding in just a few months! |

we're finally finished with the new blog and i love it! i especially love the new comments feature and the clean design. i decided awhile ago that since blogging is an awesome way to let everyone in on what we've been up to, news and everything else that it would be good idea to invest in a new and improved blog. a big thank you to brock. He's not only a web genius, but he's so helpful and such an easy person to work with...definitely a good choice. :)
